Management Committee

The Grey Lynn Toy Library is run and managed by a group of volunteer members who form the management committee. The current volunteer management committee comprises the following roles.

  1. Chairperson
  2. Secretary
  3. Coordinator
  4. Treasurer
  5. Funding, Sponsorships & Fundraising
  6. Marketing (of Toy Library)
  7. Membership
  8. Toy Team
  9. Toy Maintenance

The specifics of the committee job vary depending on the role but overall each committee members spends 2-4 hours fortnightly working on their toy library job. In addition, committee members attend bi-monthly meetings, held in the evenings and usually over a glass of wine.

Why join the committee? Give back to your community toy library, meet other members, help steer and run the great toy library we have. Committee members only pay $1 for their yearly membership, because they do such a great job making sure the library runs smoothly for all to enjoy.
