1. Eligibility

1.1. Participation: The raffle is open exclusively to members of the Grey Lynn Toy Library.

1.2. Exclusion: Committee members of the Grey Lynn Toy Library and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

2. Entry

2.1. Ticket Sales: Ticket sales for the raffle will commence on Saturday, September 14th, 2024, at 9:30 AM and conclude on Wednesday, September 25th, 2024, at 11:30 AM.

2.2. Entry Method: Entry into the raffle is achieved by purchasing a raffle ticket.

2.3. Purchase Locations: Raffle tickets can be purchased at two locations:

  • In person at the Grey Lynn Toy Library during the following hours:
    • Wednesdays: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
    • Saturdays: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
  • Via email by contacting the Grey Lynn Toy Library at greylynn.toylibrary@gmail.com.

2.4. Confirmation: Please note that physical raffle tickets will not be issued. You will receive confirmation of your ticket purchase via email.

2.5. Ticket Prices: Raffle tickets are available for purchase at the following prices:

  • $5 per ticket
  • $10 for 3 tickets
  • $15 for 5 tickets

3. Donor Information

The raffle prize, four tickets to The Wiggles Show, was generously donated by an anonymous donor.

4. Prize

4.1. Description: The prize is four tickets to The Wiggles Show, scheduled for Auckland’s Spark Arena on September 28th, 2024, at 12:30 PM.

4.2. Ticket Transfer: The tickets will be issued in the name of the donor and will not be transferable to the winner’s name.

4.3. Restrictions: The prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-negotiable.

4.4. Cash Equivalent: There is no cash alternative to the prize.

4.5. No Refunds: If the winner is unable to attend the Wiggles Show, there will be no refunds or exchanges.

4.6. Gifting: The winner may choose to gift the tickets to another person.

4. Raffle Purpose

The proceeds from the raffle will contribute towards the purchase of a new soft play set for the Grey Lynn Toy Library.

5. Drawing

5.1. Date and Time: The winner will be drawn randomly on Wednesday, September 25th, between 11:31 AM and 12:00 PM.

5.2. Location: The drawing will be conducted at the Grey Lynn Toy Library, 92 Surrey Crescent, Grey Lynn, Auckland.

5.3. Notification: The winner will be notified by phone.

5.4. Winner Announcement: The winner will also be announced on the Grey Lynn Toy Library’s Facebook and Instagram pages on Wednesday, September 25th, by 2:00 PM.

6. Unclaimed Prizes

6.1. Claim Deadline: If the winner cannot be contacted/reached within 48 hours of the drawing, the prize will be considered unclaimed and forfeited, and no further redraws will be conducted.

7. Liability

7.1. Disclaimer of Responsibility: The Grey Lynn Toy Library is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the raffle or the prize.

7.1. Event Modification: The Grey Lynn Toy Library reserves the right to cancel or modify the raffle at any time.

8. Governing Law

This raffle is governed by the laws of New Zealand.
